Event ReadyLearn the events industry. Build the business behind it.
A twelve-month, one-on-one coaching program for people who want to run events and run the business that delivers them. You learn the craft, and you build a real, trading business as you go — with two nationally recognised qualifications at the end of it.
Intakes February & July · Sunshine Coast and online · strictly limited places — this is one-on-one, not a classroom.
Two certificates. One real business.
Most people choose between learning events or learning business. Event Ready refuses the choice — because an event business needs both, and the evidence for one builds the other.

A qualification is the paperwork. This is the business.
Every session produces something real. By the end of twelve months you own a working business — not a folder of theory.
Full event management toolkit
Run sheets, production schedules, briefs, registration systems, supplier packs, bump-in/bump-out checklists — the kit you’ll use on every job.
A live business website
Built, published and yours — with the pages, copy and enquiry flow a real client will actually move through.
Accounting system, up and running
Chart of accounts, invoicing, expense tracking, BAS-ready records and a cash flow forecast you understand and maintain.
Sales & marketing strategy — implemented
Not a plan in a drawer: your positioning, offers, content calendar and published content, running and measured.
Customer onboarding process
Enquiry to booking to delivery — the emails, forms, deposits and expectations, mapped and automated where sensible.
Customer journey & follow-up
The retention engine: post-event follow-up, feedback capture, testimonials, referral asks and repeat-booking rhythm.
Legal compliance & contract templates
Your obligations identified, plus the contracts you need — client agreements, supplier terms, T&Cs, deposit and cancellation policies.
Insurance, guided and in place
What cover an event business genuinely needs, how to compare it, and support to actually get it implemented.
Pricing model & quoting pack
Costed pricing that protects your margin, plus quote and proposal templates that win work without discounting.
Risk, WHS & site safety pack
Event risk register, site safety plan, contingency and wet-weather plans, incident procedure — what venues and councils ask for.
Supplier & venue network
A live database of venues, suppliers and partners with rates, terms and relationships you’ve actually built.
Brand identity kit
Logo, colours, fonts, templates and tone — consistent across your site, socials, proposals and on-site signage.
Budget & cash flow model
Event-level and business-level budgets, break-even, and a 12-month cash flow you can steer by.
Feedback & testimonial system
Structured post-event feedback that improves the product and produces the social proof that sells the next one.
Systems & templates library
Your repeatable operating documents, organised — so the second event takes a fraction of the effort of the first.
Business portfolio
Everything above, evidenced and organised — your assessment record, and a tangible professional record for life.
23 units of work. 17 units of effort.
Because both qualifications are Certificate III, units can be shared and evidence can count twice. We package deliberately so you’re never assessed twice for the same work.
