The Approach

Validated in the Real World

Performance is confirmed through demonstrated application in real work activities.

Evidence may include:

  • workplace responsibilities and tasks
  • supervisor confirmation
  • applied documentation and outputs
  • observation or professional review

The Learning Coach works in partnership with the participant to clarify what evidence is appropriate and how it is presented.

The objective is to confirm consistent and reliable performance, not to test theoretical knowledge in isolation.

How the Pathway Works

Click the sections below to understand our standards and potential outcomes.

What recognised competence represents

Recognition reflects the ability to perform professional responsibilities consistently.

For example, a recognised supervisor may be able to:

  • manage team expectations and accountability
  • organise workflow and allocate responsibilities effectively
  • address performance issues constructively
  • communicate clearly with staff and stakeholders
  • support consistent operational standards

Formal recognition confirms that capability can be demonstrated reliably in real workplace conditions.

Recognition of existing experience

Participants are not required to repeat development they can already demonstrate.

Existing experience is reviewed and mapped against required standards. Evidence of prior capability is often gathered through:

  • Mapping past workplace projects and responsibilities to current qualification requirements
  • Reviewing existing workplace documentation, portfolios, and practical outputs
  • Professional conversations and interviews to validate applied knowledge
  • Supervisor or third-party reports confirming consistent, real-world performance

Where performance already meets the standard, recognition is issued. Where gaps are identified, targeted development is completed before validation.

Possible outcomes

Depending on the pathway and role, outcomes may include:

  • full nationally recognised qualifications
  • partial completion leading to further development
  • documented confirmation of demonstrated competence

The outcome reflects validated performance in the role.

Programs Tailored to Meet Skill and Competency Gaps

For Teams

Driving Performance & Operational Excellence

For employers, formal recognition provides assurance that staff performance has been validated against recognised standards and compliance requirements.

This supports:

  • role clarity & performance consistency
  • workforce development
  • reduced operational risk

Recognition is based on demonstrated competence rather than participation in training alone.

For Individuals

Validating Capability & Building Career Confidence

For individuals starting a business, advancing in a trade, or transitioning to a new industry, our process is about identifying skill gaps and filling them with coaching, mentoring, tailored training, and work experience opportunities.

This supports:

  • targeted capability development
  • confident career transitions
  • professional credibility and trust

Recognition validates your practical ability to operate effectively in your chosen field.

What Learnivation does not do: We do not issue qualifications based solely on attendance, short courses, or time spent studying.

Recognition is granted only when competence can be demonstrated and validated in practice against required standards.

This preserves the credibility of both the qualification and the individual.

Ready for the next step?

If you would like to understand how your role aligns with recognised standards, the first step is a capability discussion.

We review responsibilities, experience, and goals and determine the appropriate pathway.
